Generic names of insects with references to Johan Leonhard Frisch, "Beschreibung allerley Insecten in Deutsch-Land", Tom. I-II, Berlin, 1720. Linnaeus bought his copy of Frisch in Uppsala in 1730, as the inscription in the book indicates: 'Carl Linnaeus ups: 1730'. The notes must have been taken shortly after, as the manuscript is in an early hand.
The layout indicates that genera names were written out first (delimited by a folding of the page), and information from Frisch added later. The arrangement of genera follows Linnaeus's classification as published in "Systema naturae" 1735.
