Contains notes written at different points of time on the following genera.
All of these were part of Order 2 'Ferae' in 1748 "Syst. nat."6; this order was divided between 'Ferae' and 'Bestiae' in "Syst. nat." 10, 1758. Most of the notes here are closer to 1748 in date, yet later than 1748, as 'Syst. nat' 5' (for "Syst. nat" 6, 1748) is referred to.
- 'Phoca'
- 'Canis'. On sheet on 'Canis' in Linnaeus Filius's hand.
- 'Felis' (includes 'F. leo', 'F. tigris', 'F. pardus', 'F. lynx'). One sheet on 'Felis' is in Linnaeus Filius's hand.
- 'Mustela'
- 'Ursus'
- 'Lutra' - in 1748 6th ed, the otter is still a genera, whereas in 1758 19th ed, it has become a species of 'Mustela'.
- 'Didelphis': on the reverse of 'Lutra'.
- 'Erinaceus'
- 'Meles' - in 1748 6th ed, the badger is still a genera, whereas in 1758 19th ed, it has become a species of 'Ursus'. In Linnaeus Filius's hand.
