Description:
List of plants from Haller, A.von (1768). "Alberti v. Haller Historia stirpium indigenarum helvetiae inchoata. Tomus primus (-tertia)". Bern, the second edition to Haller's "Enumeratio methodica stirpium Helvetiae" (1742).
The plants are kept in Haller's system but with the trivial epithet sometimes added to the genus name.
With critical remarks regarding Haller's system.
Linnaeus acquired the book sometime in 1770:
In January 1770, he complained to Johannes Beckman that the work was too expensive for him to acquire. Carl Linnaeus to Johannes Beckman, 26 January 1770, The Linnaean correspondence, linnaeus.c18.net, letter L4317.
By December, Linnaeus was criticising it in his correspondence. See Carl Linnaeus to Petter Jonas Bergius, 12 December 1770, The Linnaean correspondence, linnaeus.c18.net, letter L4451.
