Description:
4 different lists. Not easily dated as letters do not always survive. However most seem to date from the late 1770s (after his accession to the professorship in 1777) to 1783:
- Quarto double sheet entitled 'Correspondent', with the start of an unfinished list of correspondents for Holland (two names) and France (none). Linnaeus Filius correspondended with David van Royen in 1778.
- Octavo leaflet (8 ff), with list of correspondents by countries, starting with 'Norgie', and continuing with 'Kiöpenhamn', 'Tyskland', Holland, Italy and France (the last three not headed by country name). Correspondents are given their title and occupation as well as city.
- Large quarto double sheet, with four lines of an address, to 'Jean Jacques Gatin(?), Consul general suedois'. The folding of the paper indicates that this was meant to be a letter.
- Folio double sheet, list of correspondents abroad, arranged according to countries (Spain, Americas, France, England, Germany, Holland, Austria, Italy, Russia).
