Swedish translation of an extract from Antoine Joseph Dezallier d'Argenville's "La Conchyliologie, ou Histoire naturelle des coquilles de mer, d'eau douce, terrestres et fossiles, avec un traité de la zoomorphose, ou représentation des animaux qui les habitent" (2 volumes, 1752), translated from the French into German and published in the journal "Oeconomisch-physikalische Abhandlungen", 1756, Volume 9, pp. 204-216.
In his annotated copy of "Systema naturae" X (1766), vol. 1:3 (BL 22), Linnaeus the Younger entered an extract of this.
