Description:
Travel diary of Linnaeus's journey into Öland, in 1741.
Mainly in Linnaeus's hand, the remainder in the hands of 3 disciples.
Initially, 'Iter Oelandicum' and 'Iter Gotlandicum' formed a single volume as is indicated by the page numbering. When bound, part of the work was misbound:
pp. 222-225 were removed to 'Iter Vestrogothicum' by A Arvid H. Uggla.
pp 430-435 of Linnaeus's diary (archival pagination 228-233), account for the days between 25 July and 27 July 1741, and are placed at the end of the 'Iter Oelandicum' volume. The last page has been signed by the expedition participants. These pages have been wrongly bound and should be in 'Iter Gotlandicum'.
pp 436-479 of Linnaeus's diary, covering the dates between 29 July and 28 August are placed between pp 61 and 62 of the 'Iter Oelandicum'. These pages have been wrongly bound and should be in 'Iter Gotlandicum'.
