The manuscript lacks a title, which was provided by Ährling (1889). It describes Linnaeus's tour of foundries, mines and mills in the early days of 1734. Many drawings.
The notes describe the following visits:
3 Jan. 1734: Davidshyttan: steelworks for bar-iron;
Trollbo: steelworks for pig-iron;
4 Jan. 1734: Bjurfors: copper processes, brassworks;
Avesta: purification works for the copper and a mint;
6-8 Jan. 1734: Garpenberg: copper mines and smelting works including purification works for copper a short distance from there;
13 Jan. 1734: Linnaeus is in Norberg: iron and copper mines;
26 Jan. 1734: Falun: the Great copper mine between 10 am and 1 pm, as well as smelting works;
4 February 1734: Nishyttan: iron mines;
Bispberg: iron mines, blast furnaces;
Lassbo: mineral spring
