- Details about Linnaeus's education and first studies;
- Principal events of Linnaeus's life, his employment, his travels, his professorship, and some brush strokes of his private life;
- A precise list of all his works, with dates of different editions;
- His academic titles, and the academies of which he was a member;
- The honours and distinctions betowed upon him;
- Details of his illness;
- The day of his death;
- The names of his wife and his children;
- Some elements of his character.
