Description:
Lectures on the plants in the botanic garden at Uppsala.
Arranged by Arvid H. Uggla according to numbers in "Genera plantarum", ed. VI (1764).
Undated.
Different handwritings and paper indicate that the lecture notes date to different years.
In the same sizes (quarto and octavo) as the lectures on natural orders (LM/LF/BOT/1/2/4) and might therefore belong both to the same lecture cycle.
Of note:
- Original pin holding together 'Asclepias syriaca' (306);
- plan of a house at the back of one of the sheet on 'Tulipa' (415);
- Some sheets have the species name written vertically along the outer edge of the sheet (eg. 'tomentosa' for the genus "Lobelia" (1006);
- Bottom of page on "Eclipta" (1061), announcement for Linnaeus fil.'s public lectures on dietetics;
- References to "Species plantarum" ed. 3 (1764): 'Helianthus 1276' (979); 'Arum collocasia p. 1369' (1028);
- References to "Mantissa plantarum altera" (1771): 'Lycoperdon pistillare Mantiss. 2da p. 313' (1082).
